Monuments are built to honor people, historical events or anything that is valued to be remembered. All sorts of personalities, events and even tragedies are portrayed by monuments. But there is almost no monument built after character in the pop culture.
Benoit Lapray, a French 3D artist took it upon himself to create conceptual monuments featuring famous pop culture icons in Paris. Lapray joined forces with Emmanuelle Lugand and 95 Magenta to create and replace the monuments in Paris, digitally.
Featured below are some of Pop culture’s most famous and loved characters.

Lapray believes that these characters have made impact on vast number of lives growing up. And it would be so awesome to grab a quick picture with them as people visit Paris.
