Marjan Radovic is a Croatian professional photographer, scuba diving instructor, and underwater photography instructor. He had the idea of creating a series of photorealistic artificial intelligence dog portraits to show that they are the true heroes. The project, titled “Dog Heroes,” depicts our furry friends in uniforms, demonstrating that they are not only our adorable companions but also symbols of loyalty, intelligence, and strength.
Marjan have used Midjourney AI platform and Photoshop for post-production on this project. The entire project took seven days to complete.
“Throughout history, dogs have proved time and time to be brave heroes time and again. They’ve worked as search and rescue dogs, using their keen sense of smell to find people trapped in disaster zones. They had already served as guide dogs, safely guiding the blind around the world. They’ve also worked as therapy dogs, providing happiness and comfort to those in need.”

While artificial intelligence can certainly provide a new level of innovation and creativity to the industry of photography, it also raises concerns about the work’s authenticity and originality. Who really can claim ownership and authorship of a photograph created by a machine? This question is still being debated in the photography community, and it is a subject that needs to be researched further.

We have conflicting opinions about the use of artificial intelligence in photography. On the one hand, I am awestruck by the stunning images that AI can produce. On the other hand, I am still concerned about the implications of machine-created work and the effect it may have on photography’s authenticity.
