A Turkish guy possesses the world’s longest nose, measuring 3.5 inches long and protruding out of his face (8.8cm). Mehmet zyürek, 71, has held the title of Guinness World Record holder for the past 11 years. According to The Mirror, the corporation stated today that Mehmet had maintained his nose in front of all opposition. His sniffer is still impenetrable, and no one has been able to usurp his crown.

“#OnThisDay in 2010, Mehmet zyürek of Turkey was officially verified as our record holder for the longest nose on a live person,” Guinness World Records tweeted.
“From the bridge to the tip, Mehmet’s beautiful nose measures 8.8 cm (3.46 in).”
When measured, Mr. Zürek’s beak was crowned the world’s most significant on the Italian TV show Lo Show Dei Record in 2010. The longest nose in history, however, belonged to Thomas Wedders of England.

The nose of an 18th century Yorkshireman measured an astounding 7.5 inches long (19cm). Wedders was a member of a “traveling circus,” according to the blog Weird Historian, where he flaunted his schnoz. The circus toured the county of Yorkshire.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not museums throughout the world have lifesize waxworks of Thomas’s enormous nose.
Just this week, the family of a guy who lived to be 127 contacted Guinness World Records to tell them about his incredible life. Natabay Tinsiew claimed to have been born in 1894 in Eritrea, Africa.
And only a few days ago, a loving golden retriever made history by breaking the world record for the most tennis balls in his mouth at the same time. Finley, a seven-year-old pooch, managed to cram six tennis balls into his mouth simultaneously.

Finley’s incredible achievement means he has broken the previous record of five, which had stood for 17 years and was set by a golden retriever from Texas, USA.
