Winter has come in the Northern Hemisphere, and it comes to the first complaints about the bitter cold. However, brutal winter weather is a part of the profession for Polish mountain photographer Karol Nienartowicz. Nonetheless, the photographs he produces are well worth a few hours spent outdoors with icicles on his beard.
The artist often has to camp overnight in the worst circumstances to create great images of majestic mountain ranges. He enjoys photography sunrises and sunsets and strives to stay away from the tourist traps to get something unique.
In the winter, the photographer discovers the peaceful beauty of the Polish highlands. Winter is frozen in time, and the fairytale-like mansions powdered with snow, the chilly isolation, the magnificent majesty of nature, and the starry night sky may be savored for more than a brief moment thanks to the camera.
