As President Joe Biden lists the travel restriction, Brits who have got both their Covid vaccines have been allowed permission to travel to the US within the next few weeks. From November onwards, double-jabbed travelers from the EU and the United Kingdom will enter the United States. And also, the announcement comes as the 18-month ban enforced by former US President Donald Trump comes to an end.

At the height of the global epidemic, tourists, businesspeople, and families were barred from visiting America. Before the prohibition on British citizens traveling to the United States due to the coronavirus, more than 4 million British tourists visited the nation each year.
“Most critically, foreign nationals traveling to the United States will be expected to be properly vaccinated,” said White House Covid-19 Response Coordinator Jeff Zients.

According to Downing Street insiders, the Prime Minister will make an “impassioned” case for allowing double-jabbed Britons to fly directly to America. However, Boris Johnson had previously stated that media should not “hold their breath” for opening US borders so that the news may have come as a surprise. “I don’t think we’re going to crack it this week,” Mr. Johnson said on a trip to visit Mr. Biden at the White House. I regret to inform you that I do not believe this will be resolved this week. We’ll try, but based on what I’ve heard, I wouldn’t hold my breath.”

When the president visited the United Kingdom for the G7 conference in June, he promised to loosen limitations, but this did not happen. Fortunately, the new policy may be implemented shortly, allowing individuals of nations with high immunization rates to travel to the United States. Only US residents, green card holders, and those with national interest exemptions are now granted admission if they have spent the preceding 14 days in the UK or EU.
