A man named Shane Michael got into a fight over his face mask and was sentenced to a 10 years time in prison. The fight took place in an eyewear store. While spitting on a man outside the store Michael said, “If I have it, you have it!”

The fight took place on November 11th in an eyewear store at Des Moines. According to Lowa Capital Dispatch, the brawl started after a man came to the store. He asked the 42 year old Shane to repair his mask which hung below his nose.
The exchange sparked a brawl in the shop’s parking lot, where the two guys began fighting.
According to Dispatch reports, Michael punched the man in the eye and kicked him in the groin many times. Michael’s opponent allegedly bit the Michael on the arm before removing his mask and spat on him.
Referring to COVID-19, Michael said, “If I have it, you have it!”
according to Des Moines Register, Witnesses told that Michael is the reason for the fight to take place during the pandemic. As they say Michael was seen following the man when he moved out of the store to approach him.
Michael’s father told the Iowa Capital Dispatch that his asthmatic son refused to wear his face mask over his nose. Michael’s actions were also supported by him, who said he acted in self-defense.
According to courts, Michael was found guilty of a felony count of malicious injury resulting in serious damage on April 1st. Finally Michael was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Wednesday.
