It’s a dream for every book lover to have a separate room in their house for a library. However, it’s not just for the purpose of keeping so many books in place that they require a room of their own. Libraries provide a warm and peaceful feel to them, so it’s the perfect place to read and have some relaxation.
From her childhood Twitter user Mikaela had wanted her own home library. When she somehow made her dream come true she didn’t forget to share photos of it with others on Twitter. The tweet became viral. People didn’t just admire the wonderful room, but also shared their own libraries. So let’s have a look at where people store their books.
Thanks for all the lovely messages about my little library! It’s totally normal for me to be standing outside in the dark so I can admire it through the window, right? pic.twitter.com/s7ktZiZD7q

Mikaela originates from Australia, but she lives in New Zealand. Mikaela loves reading books. She logged into her Twitter account to share her joy of completing her own home library. Finally the library which was her childhood dream has come to a reality.
Mikaela has chosen green tones for her library’s interior. Color psychology says colors tend to impact emotions and mood. Green would be ideal for the room as it is restful, cheerful, health-giving and soothing. According to some researchers it can even improve reading abilities and help us focus.

Over 240k people liked the tweet and more than 1.6k people had something to say. Users on Twitter were applauding Mikaela’s library and showing their envy. Seems like it’s a common dream many people have.
Not to mention, some people shared photos of their library too. Whether anyone’s library was a bookshelf or a separate room with armchairs and good lightning, it didn’t matter as long as everyone enjoyed sharing it.

A famous Italian writer once said, “The person who doesn’t read lives only one life. The reader lives 5,000. Reading is immortality backwards.” However, in 2018 around 27 percent of adults in the US didn’t read a single book. As suggested by data it’s clear that Indians are the ones who put a lot of time into reading.
One more interesting fact is that women take more interest in reading more than men. Data collected from 2015 shows around 77 percent of American women read a book that year, compared to 67 percent of American men. When looking at the amounts, the average woman reads 14 books per year while average men only 9 books a year.
Why people didn’t bother to read that much was not because they didn’t like it, but because they didn’t have spare time for it. With the pandemic many people have turnt to reading as they save more time staying home. According to surveys 35 percent of people suggest they have read more. However, 14 percent suggest they have read considerably more.
