Dresses made of silk aren’t delicate enough. Ideally, a paper dress by Asya Kozina is required for full-blown, no-holds-barred delicateness. The paper gowns are stylized replicas of a variety of traditional bridal gowns from throughout the globe. Although they seem sturdy, I wouldn’t like to move (or sweat) in them.
The gowns were created for a commercial photo for “Wild Orchid,” a wedding lingerie company. Kozina is a paper artist who lives and works in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She has produced paper reproductions of Mongolian wedding outfits before, so this isn’t her first time producing wedding gowns.
