According to the Ventura State Sheriff’s Office, Britney Spears is investigating the battery after a staff member accused the pop star of having a physical dispute. The alleged incident took place at 10:25 a.m. Monday at Spears’ home and there was a confrontation between her and her employee. According to NBC News, Spears allegedly snatched the employee’s phone from their hands. The staff officer then called the agent’s home and reported to the sheriff’s office.
“Staff reported that Ms. Spears assaulted her during the dispute,” Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Captain Eric Bushcho. Agents at Spears’ home responded and investigated the incident. The case can be considered a faulty battery. And investigators’ reports are referred to the Ventura State Attorney’s Office to consider any allegations.
“This is a highly sensitive tabloid food – nothing more than ‘he said’ made about a mobile phone, without any harm,” Rosengart said in an email. Anyone could make an accusation. But this should have been shut down immediately. The sheriff’s office said the incident was classified as a minor offense. And no injuries were reported. police had also responded to a call to Spears’ home on August 10. “She wanted to report a theft, but when agents arrived, she decided she did not want to file a report,” he said. The call did not lead to any law enforcement action, and agents left the singer’s home after Speer did not provide further details.
The news comes as Spears is embroiled in a legal battle to regain control of her life and money through 13 years of conservation service. Her father, Jamie Spears, had argued for years that she could not make decisions independently. He recently stated that he was ready to step down at some point and hand over control to someone else.
