At this point, we’re all weary of the pandemic and its limitations, of hearing about new COVID-19 cases and fatalities on the news, of not being able to move freely and feel safe in a crowd. But we’re also fed up with those who deny the virus exists or refuse to obey the rules because they don’t realize how crucial it is to get vaccinated.
They are not, however, exhausted from resisting it. For example, a guy from Florida laid down on the floor at a Costco and stayed there for 8 minutes protesting the mask law.
A guy in Florida threw a rage tantrum in December 2020 because the Costco he intended to shop at forced customers to wear masks.
Although the video is just a minute long, the individual who took it informed MSN that the man did not stand up for roughly 8 to 10 minutes. The guy vowed to sue everyone who touched him, according to the filmer.
The cops eventually arrived, and it can be seen in the video that they attempted to reason with the guy. But he doesn’t seem to care. It isn’t easy to understand what the guy is saying to the officer. But it’s evident that he’s upset about the mask requirement and is having a temper tantrum.
The guy sat down on the floor and remained there for about ten minutes.
The anti-masker stands up and goes away after a time. According to the individual who filmed the video, the officer agreed to let him check out without a mask. The guy was escorted away after using the self-checkout.
According to the filmer, the shop manager was dissatisfied with the officer’s judgment. And he believed the guy should not have gotten away with his acts. He was, after all, breaking the store’s rules. On the other hand, the officer was probably trying to get the guy to go without making a more extensive disturbance.
He was whining about how the authorities wouldn’t allow him to purchase his goods unless he wore a disguise.
Even though the video was released about a year ago, it is still relevant today, and this incidence is far from unique. An essay on the subject was just published in the online journal Psychology Today. They claim that the pandemic’s tiredness has resulted in temper tantrums and that since adults are experiencing them, they may become hazardous and aggressive.
People must learn to manage their emotions since throwing tantrums does not assist anybody and demonstrates a lack of emotional intelligence, awareness, and compassion. You may not always agree with the rules, but you must obey them to prevent anarchy.
The police ultimately let the guy go without a mask on.
Some individuals refuse to wear masks for various reasons, most of which are neither medical nor religious. They are primarily ideological. Those individuals read the Bill of Rights’ guarantee of freedom differently. “The anti-maskers refuse to acknowledge that such liberties are not boundless,” Psychology Today writes. For example, you can’t yell ‘Fire!’ in a packed theater because freedom of expression must be balanced against the public interest.”
