The legendary dispute between Gordon Ramsay and Marco Pierre White has come to an end. Gordon was left teary-eyed as the two celebrity chefs called it quits on their Hollywood ‘war.’ As he arrived at one of his London eateries, he confessed that the visit from his old adversary “brought a tear to his eye.” Marco, 59, posted a photo of himself holding a Gordon Ramsay Street Burger takeaway bag with the hashtag “broughtateartomyeye,” adding, “So wonderful when the Great White stops in for a burger.”
The father-of-five informed his 12.9 million Instagram followers, who were ecstatic with the photo, with many racing to the comment area to share their joy.
“Love this…like two Dons meeting after the battle…” said Piers Morgan on Twitter.
“This is the man who made Gordon weep,” one fan added.
“Has hell frozen over?” a third asked.
“Yous two deserve a relationship; life is too short for bitterness,” one fan said.
Gordon became well-known for his rage and successful series such as The F-Word and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares.
When Pierre White went insane and turned Gordon into a “bubbling mess” in his younger chef days, he received a taste of his own medicine.
Gordon was just 20 years old when the drama unfolded at Pierre White’s Harvey’s restaurant in London.
“I don’t recall what he’d done wrong, but I shouted at him, and he lost it,” Pierre White told The Independent in 2006.
“Gordon knelt in the kitchen’s corner, put his head in his hands, and began weeping.”
But it was Gordon’s arrival at Marco’s wedding with a television crew that allegedly broke the camel’s back in their tumultuous relationship.
This comes after Gordon gave Tilly, his Strictly Come Dancing star daughter, some tough advice earlier this week.
In an exclusive interview with Hello, Tilly, 19, revealed what advice her renowned father gave her about her dance show career.
“His advice to me when I first joined Strictly was to work hard, have fun, and give it my all because it’s a once in a lifetime chance,” she told the newspaper.
