This is a beautiful story of two best friends who do not belong to the same species. Joao Pereira de Souza, 71, a fisherman, discovered a small penguin that dies in oil. Then, he rescued it and brought it to the health of his village in Brazil. The penguin earned its name ‘Dindim.’ Dindim lived with Joao for about 11 months until a new feather coat developed. It left as soon as it was able to swim. The old fisherman thought Dindim would never return, but the penguin returned to see his friend in June. Dindim returns to his friend in Brazil every June and spends months with him. Check out the photos and video below! Don’t miss to share your lovely thoughts with us in the comments section!

People speculate that Dindim spends time on the coast of Argentina because it is the closest colony they know. When Dindim returns, he does not allow any man to touch it. Only his friend Joao could pet, carry, feed or bathe it. They are lifelong friends with heartfelt friendships.
