Rainbow Nests Are Made By Wasps Using Colored Paper

Rainbow Nests are made by wasps using colored paper.

Wasps have no preference for one hue over another. They didn’t mind using colored paper to make their showy new rainbow nests since they were still paper.

Mattia Menchetti, a bio student at the University of Florence, conducted an experiment that resulted in this redecorating. The plan was to feed colorful paper to a captive colony of European paper wasps instead of plain paper. It took some gaining used to, but the wasps soon began to utilize it instead of plain paper, resulting in these amazing-looking bright nests.
