Rapper Aitch Delights Fans With A Surprise Lunchtime Performance

Rapper Aitch delights fans with a surprise lunchtime performance at a SUBWAY restaurant.

Aitch, the rap sensation, surprised fans with a hidden lunchtime concert in his local Subway in Manchester. Following a surprise call-out to fans, the 21-year-old artist performed the new track “Party Round My Place” after a surprise call-out on Tuesday. Only 25 lucky fans were permitted into the shop, which was temporarily renamed SubwAITCH.

The rapper’s favorite personalized order of the Italian B.M.T.® sandwich (renamed the Aitch Footlong for the occasion) was also available, allowing fans to order their Italian-style snack just like him.

Born and raised in New Moston, Manchester, Aitch has quickly established himself as one of the UK’s most prominent rap artists.

“I wanted to perform an intimate show for my Manchester team and thought this would be a nice place,” he explained.

“Thanks for having me down and letting me take over Subway – and be sure to get an Aitch sub before they’re all gone.”

He has racked up over a billion global streams and over five million international record sales thanks to collaborations with Stormzy, Ed Sheeran, AJ Tracey, Stefflon Don, and Headie One.

“It was such a surprise seeing Aitch in my local Subway; I loved the performance,” Ashleigh, an Aitch super fan who attended the show, said. This has made my day because I’ve been listening to him for a long time.”

“When we found that Aitch was a Subway fan, we wanted to pull off something unique for his followers,” Mays Elansari, head of marketing UK & Ireland at Subway, said.

“What better way to work with him than to revamp our Subway Manchester Piccadilly shop for this surprise event and title his favorite Subway Footlong after him?”

“This is the first time we’ve done a show in a Subway, but who knows, it won’t be the last.”
