One of the saddest things we have to face is the loss of our beloved pets. It’s not easy to see them leaving us, and maybe that’s why some people give up killing their elderly and sick pets. Here is such a story of Bella, a German Shepherd dog of 10 years. She was left to drown in the Trent River near Long Lane in Forden, New York. And also, she tied a stone around her neck and threw the stone into the water.

She was left out to get drown in a river.

Jane Harper and Joanne Bellamy, dog-walkers, had seen him by chance.

After the rescue, Bella was taken to a veterinarian for treatment.

And then was transferred to RSPCA care.

So, Bella was fortunate to survive. After being examined by veterinarians, she was also reported to have several health problems. The Nottingham Radcliffe Animal Center staff have been taking good care of Bella since she was taken into RSPCA care. Investigations into the culprits were initiated by the Animal Welfare Charity and the police.

On the other hand, after more than a year of care, she recovered well and was ready for a permanent home. Retired couple Maggie Melish and Charlie Douglas had taken steps to give Bella an eternal home and love. Belo, now 11, has found a very loving couple to take care of her. Even before, the couple had cared for Shepherd dogs. And the dog died a few years ago, and they wanted to take Bella away. As Bella takes her saviors away, Jane and Joan are also invited to a happy occasion.

And, Maggie says they have cared for three Shepherd dogs for the past 30 years. Their rescue dog Tia / Luna died two years ago, and their daughter Claire Lusher’s dog Flame died a year ago. So when they saw Bella, even their daughter told them to take her. Bella was told she needed to see a veterinarian regularly and be willing to pay for all of her medical needs. And they want to give her a home of eternal love.
