Sketch Tattoos Seem To Have Been Drawn On With A Pencil

You don’t want your tattoo to seem incomplete. Nomi Chi’s tattoos, on the other hand, are appealing due to their sketch-like appearance. These tattoos retain the harsh lines and circles used in sketching, whether the drawings are black and white or colored and filled with facts. This gives the piece a feeling of urgency that is seldom present in ‘completed’ art.

Naomi Chi is a tattoo artist who presently works at Gastown Tattoo in Vancouver, Canada. “Animation sparked my interest in visual art, so capturing movement is vital to me,” Chi said in an interview. “I also want to imbue my tattoos with a sense of immediacy, so there’s a lot of improvisation – it keeps the process new and interesting for me.” Of course, I’m pleased my customers like it as well!”
