Stray Cat Freezing and Sick, Knocks On A Window Looking for Any Hope.

This is about a poor stray cat, grappling with life’s hard obstacles and trying to get by. But when things get bigger than it can handle, it tried its last hope; to knock on doors for help.

The cat was searching for a place where it could get any help in the cold winter until he found a savior. The residents of the house contacted Un Chat à la Fois; a cat rescue foundation initiated by Marie Simrad, in Canada.

After meeting Simrad, the cat voluntarily went into the carrier and let the vet conduct his examinations on him. Due to this very friendly behavior out of a street cat, the Un Chat à la Fois foundation named the cat ‘Aslan’, referring to the lion of the ‘Narnia’ series.

They checked for any missing cases of pets that matched Aslan’s description and found none. So he is suspected to be a pet of irresponsible owners who have stranded him on the streets since Aslan had manners that a street cat wouldn’t have.

He had few matters that required immediate medical attention such as; diabetes, bite wounds, fleas, worms, few rotten teeth, and frostbite. He was hospitalized to be stabilized prior to finding him a foster family.

He has been really obedient and helpful to the people who vetted him. He is friendly with anyone he comes across at Un Chat à la Fois.

By the time he was ready, Aslan’s foster mom stepped up to adopt him at her place, where he found two more cat colleagues at his new home; Cleo and Jasmin. Sadly, Jasmin passed away and Aslan is now spending his days with Cleo. He is on a special diet to get his diabetes levels in control.

Aslan has been transformed from a very sick street cat to a very affectionate pet who liked to be cuddled.

The reactions from the people were very positive!
