Following their 2018 draw and Fury’s one-sided TKO victory in 2020, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder have agreed on a special provision in their trilogy match deal. In that second meeting, the self-proclaimed Gypsy King stole the WBC belt from Bronze Bomber.
And planned to defend it against Anthony Joshua before honoring Wilder’s rematch. After losing to Oleksandr Usyk and arranging his rematch. And the victor of this weekend’s bout will have some breathing room before a possible unification.
However, even if Wilder wins and evens their records with one victory each and a tie, the fourth encounter between them is not in the cards.

According to the Sun, the loser has no recourse to a rematch, meaning neither boxer will be locked into any future commitments if they win on the night.
“At this time, no,” Wilder’s co-manager Shelly Finkel told SunSport. We’ll see how the battle goes, but at this moment, no.
“And, if my clairvoyance is accurate, Fury will refuse to be a part of him after this.”

Fury was questioned about his desire to continue fighting before their third meeting on Saturday. And he doesn’t exactly have a retirement plan in place.
“I’m not trying to be the greatest of all time; I’m not fighting to be a legend,” Fury stated on BBC Radio 5 Live’s Boxing podcast.
“It wouldn’t help me if I made another £50 million or £200 million; you don’t have to be wealthy to live my life.” I’m just a regular guy who is brilliant at boxing and a selected extraordinary individual.”
“And, if my clairvoyance is accurate, Fury will refuse to be a part of him after this.”
