Some photographers are fond of proclaiming that film is dead and swearing solemnly by digital cameras. However, there are still photographers who only use analog cameras to do their work — Titus Poplawski, a Polish photographer, is an ideal example.
The photographer in question captures strange and scary images of humans using an analog camera, and his work is simply excellent. Titus recently said in an interview that working with cinema provides him with greater enjoyment from his profession. “It’s not about sophisticated technological hurdles,” says the author. “It’s more about letting the film impact the picture’s ultimate creative effect,” the photographer added. “I specialize in narrative photography, which is a metaphor for telling stories about people. As a result, the major subject of my photographs is a human person.”
