Traditional Slavic Wreaths Recreated By Polish Artists

To think how much fantastic stuff has already been lost to history, but thanks to photographer Ula Kóska and makeup artist Beata Bojda, one more will be saved.

The Polish artists who worked on two models wore traditional Slavic costumes, including these stunning head wreaths. Ladies donned for religious and secular rituals like weddings, funerals, festivals, and one of the biggest yearly festivities – Easter. These stunning headdresses are produced by tightly twisting paper into flower designs, a traditional Polish process.
